Born in Kagoshima in 1980, our Chef’s journey began with a childhood fascination for the culinary arts, inspired by the vibrant cooking programs of the era. While initially training in traditional Japanese cuisine, he discovered his true calling in Western gastronomy at the Nara Royal Hotel. Through years of refining his craft in banquet service—spanning Japanese, Western, and Chinese disciplines—he ultimately specialized in the precision of French technique.
After serving as Sous Chef, he led the kitchen of "Kishosakura" as Head Chef for 12 distinguished years starting in 2013. In 2026, he embarked on a new chapter as the Executive Chef of The Sakura. With 28 years of expertise, he continues to create an unparalleled symphony of "East meets West," breathing seasonal life into every masterpiece.
